Please tell us who is the third holder, why did he die, what way the other two holders related to the first holder, whether the other two holders killed the first holder?, without proper details, the experts may think and develop their imagination in many more ways, so please come out with proper details.

sorry,
the facts are X' -son along with mother and father as first and second joint holders, respectively, hold a residential flat in the society. the share certificate stands in their names in above holder.
the father i.e. second joint holder, expired.
the son and mother now approached the society to delete the name of the deceased, with a copy of the death certificate.
Kindly suggest the procedure and documents required.

On whose side, you are asking this question?
Why did the two persons approach you to delete the name of deceased?
If you are an official in the society, ask the legal heir certificate of the deceased.
If any other person is included in the LH certificate, he or she also becomes the allottee or joint holder of the property.
Then other regular procedures to follow.

Dear Sir,
I am asking on behalf of the M. Committee of the society.
The flat owners have approached us with a request to delete the name of the third holder in the flat. the share certificate bears the name of the holders as :
1. Son
2. his mother
3. his father - the deceased
Should we ask for any other documents, apart from the death certificate, since the flat is already purchased and owned by the applicants?
