Tenant's lawyers not attending the courts

(Querist) 03 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sirs,

There are three suits pending against two tenants that is one in City Civil court and 2 in small cause court.

The Tenant's advocates are always taking dates on one reason or the other .This too at the stage when all suits are either evidence hearing stage or notice of motion hearing stage. These are the tactics just to evade time and prolong the matter.

Is there any remedy which can help the Landlord to get these advocates to stop taking dates and argue the matters effectively

Please advice.

Thanking you in advance.

LL lawyer must oppose grant of dates in court and pray to court to impose heavy costs on tenants.

The lawyer of the landlord should make request to the court not to adjourn the case on every time on the request of the counsel for the tenant.

Your lawyer should vehemently oppose giving dates to the tenant's lawyer. Why he is not reacting to the request of the opposition lawyer.
