Payment of milk delivery boys

Dear sir,
we are partnership firm,registered under shops and Establishment Act.recently we have started milk project and thereby we sells milk within the local limits of the firm. we have recruited some boys above 10 in figures to sell the milk . we are paying them on daily basis and apart from that we give ESI facility to them . we are issuing Appointment letter to them,.their work time is morning 5-8 and evening 4-6
My questions are :
under what category these boys are classified .which Act is applicable to them
they will treated as what like trainee, or what .
Workmen compensation act shall be applicable to them or not.
Pl.Help me.
