Not even academic but an ABSURD QUERY!

Never heard of "under Bye-law Section 11 (4)"

What can be deciphered from such kind of information?

Sorry...my aplogies. I think I should have said Section 11 (4) of Tamilnadu Rent Control act.

When a tenant seeks protection of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1960,he is required to deposit all arrears etc.as per demand and needs to deposit rent during pendency of case month to month.

And when tenant fails to discharge this obligation law laid in s.11(4) of the said Act affords grounds in favor of Land lord/lady to apply for striking out defence of the tenant taken in eviction case.
