you are just startingh your career . at this stage you cant say i wont work on saturdays . you have to work hard if you want to make your career . let this be a valuable lesson for you . go and meet the management personally . apologise and ask them to just give you a experience letter .

In private sector and even in public sector also, working beyond office hours / holidays is sometime practice. One should try to follow the practice of the institution in which he is working till amicable separation.

Fully agree with the views of expert ajay sethi ji.

From the above answers I understand that I cannot do anything for getting my documents. But I would like to know what about the salary which they are not giving for the 20 days. Do I have any right to get my salary for the days I work. Please share your opinions.

As advised by the expert ajay sethi ji, better go to the management, apologize and get the matter amicably sorted out. If you adopt the legal path you will have to wait 4-5 years, lawyers fee, time and result will be on merits.
choice is yours.

You can take the choice of doing many things against the company for a consideration of having a whole life carrier of a litigant.

Perhaps you are not aware that how private jobs go on.You should have not denied to work on saturday at least till completion of a year.

If you are fond of a culture of a job with no work then better get a govt. job where there is no work culture, get it once and enjoy whole life.

Why don't you understand things right from one day.

Even if Co. does not give you certificate desired you can explain your next employer many thing about a gap of 12 months after passing out.But there also your attitude and employer attitude would get clashed. All would ask you to work off office time.

Getting arrears of salary with the reliving and experience certificate is your right. You should serve a legal notice to the company and should demand failing which go to civil court.
