Respected Sir,
Is there any precautionary measures that an innocent boy can take from section 498a which MAY BE IMPOSED by his wife(working lady).We apprehend this ,as the relation is very sour,although the boy is innocent.
Please help with answers.With thanks

if fir filed than immediately take Anticipatory Bail and face the case otherwise if you can for solve the problem amicable talk with her.

Yes. Move the court for anticipatory bail.She may also file a case under the Domestic violence Act not only against the husband but also his parents and sisters. Preserve all evidence - documentary and oral, which will counter her allegations.

Taking anticipatory bail is the only preventive measure the accused person can take,
However the problem is in some states like West Bengal filing application for anticipatory bail is not possible till thr FIR is registered.
If there is chance of reconciliation then suit for restitution of conjugal rights could also be tried.

only if FIR is registered will anticipatory bail be granted . mere apprehension that wife will file case is no ground for AB atleast in mahrashtra .
you should contact a local lawyer explain problems you are facing in your married life . then act accordingly

What is the current status? AB can not be applied w/o a complaint/ FIR.
