we lived in chawl and which is now re-developed and become society. Pls any one tell me what powers of society has. just need a brief explanation. thank u.

Society get right to deal with developer, so that original chawl dwellers, tenants get their flats in new building, and till that time, ensure alternate residence & other facility.
