once bounced (ie means already that cheque was bounced due to insufficient cheque]represented again three times .all the three times bounced on the same reason. fourth time legal notice was issued and complaint filed. my suspect is any RBI ruling for the times of presenting a already bounced cheque

If the bank endorsement is 'present again', there was no illegality in getting the cheque dishonured multiple times.

Within validity period, you can present the cheque again. Bank is already charging you for it [Rs 100/- i believe ]not looser.

yes.. agree with experts..

you can deposit that how many time you can, with in life time of the cheque.. no one can stop you.. but you have to issue notice for last dishonour..

There is no illegality in presenting the cheque even for 4th time if the same is within the limitation period.

There is no such bar in RBI rules. However the Apex court has upheld the ruling of more time presentation of cheque. In your case notice already served even complaint is also filed. Hence nothing to worry on this issue.

I think, any number of time the cheque can be represented within 6 months from the date of the cheque

The cheque can be represented ANY NUMBER OF TIMES within VALIDITY PERIOD.

[NOW VALIDITY PERIOD WOULD BE 03 MONTHS,EFFECTIVE DATE I AM MISSING.]
