Registration of marriage consultency service.

Pl clarify.

A marriage Bereau/ consultents are required to get registration or not. If required what is the process. In such case Service tax is applicable or not?

Please provide clear detalis.

Marriage beaurau, if run through an office, needs to be registered with the local municiapl authority.

Registration under Shops & commercial establishments Act, Service Tax Registration, PAN Card etc are required.

Thank you Mr.Deepak Nair. If any indivdual without any office want to run from his/her home then Registration of Service Tax is need.

Answer:yes, if gross receipt in financial year is more than Rs.9 lacs.
