Bad neighbours

(Querist) 04 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
I rented a flat in pune in November 2011. 2 months went good. Now the neighbour has started showing their colours. They throw the garbage, keep their shoes and chappals in front of my flat passage. We have told them many times not to do it but they don't listen and use a rude & dirty language. They say that we dont have any right to speak. Today the neighbour told his small child girl to pee into my shoes. They have harassed the previous families also. Now tell me what should I do?

ask the owner of flat to complain to secretary of society . if neighbour refuses to listen then issue notice to licensor that you want to vacate the premises
sushant (Querist) 04 January 2012
I have informed to our landlord and he knows all this thing. Secretary stays in same apartment and he knows what kind of people they are. Secretary has also lodged a police complaint before, then also our neighbour is behaving like this.

as advised to you on chat vacate the said flat after issue of notice to licensor
Deepak Nair (Expert) 04 January 2012
Yes. Better to vacate the flat if any body including the licensor and the society management are unable to do anything.

really its a petty issue., in all ways you bent your self mean your neighbor may take advantage.,

so just stop him, show your strength to him., its may be by oral or physical.,

If police is also not taking any action then the grouse should be now against police so it shall be better to approach higher police officials or court to direct the concerned police officials to take action as desired.

If the bad neighbour is owner of his residence, it is better to shift to another place to buy peace than to fight. Why should you fight with a rogue spoiling your time, energy, money and peace of mind to teach him a lesson.
