One of client mrs. abc married on 15.6.2005. since marrige she continuing tortured. Family members in her In Laws are Father, Mother in law and one brother in law.
what type of action can be taken

File a complaint under Domestic violence Act.

Harassment by Husband is not mentioned- - She can approach the Protection Officer under D V Act and explain the problems and the protection officer will prepare a Report on your information and call the in-laws members for Conciliation and for Settlement , if Settlement is not possible, you can file a case as advised by the local Protection Officer-as per the Facts of the case.

3.BUT IN CASE STILL THERE ARE NO IMPROVEMENTS, THEN SHE CAN FILE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL MATTERS WITH THE HELP OF LEGAL EXPERTS.SHE IS ENTITLED FOR MAINTAINENCE UNDER SEC.125 OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE,AND ALSO BY FILING D.V.ACT CASE IN THE CHIEF JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE COURT .SHE CAN GET MAINTAINENCE,PROTECTION ORDER AND ACCOMODATION AND SHARE IN HER MATRIMONIAL HOME.SEC.498A OF I.P.CWILL BE ATTRACTED IF HARASSMENT FOR DOWRY IS THERE AND MENTAL TORTURE AND HARASSMENT WILL BE GROUND FOR FILING THE COMPLAINT.
