RCR time frame

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 11 September 2010 This query is : Resolved
I am filing a RCR next week. Is there any specific time period before which she should reply back ?? It has been 6 months and there is no communication between both of us (although we both work at the same office). I have tried many times to talk to her and was insulted..She keeps on saying everything is over but neither comes for compromise nor seperation. I need to end this as it is getting very depressing day by day. Can any body advise me the time frame with respect to RCR proceedings and how to move on from there legally.

There is no time limit to file RCR, when you have decided to file then go with it.

at this state simply file your petition, let her come to court and clear her stand thereafter you will be able to proceed in an appropriate direction.

but file it immediately.

First try to make compromise with the help of relatives or some respectable and when you fail in all your efforts only then adopt the way of court otherwise it may open Pandora of litigation from her side against you which shall be very difficult for you to bear.

There is no limitation for filing RCR.

No time limit is fixed in law.Earlier the better. You proceed with your legal action at once.

What if my wife does not reply for the RCR ? Can you she still maintain silence ??Dont I deserve to know why she is staying away from me ??

It is 90 from the date of her appearance in the RCR case instituted by you. The trial can go depending upon various factors including the State you belong to.
