I have a 498a case running against me and my family. The charges have yet not been framed and the complainant has hired a private lawyer, who is creating unnecessary obstruction on some or other baseless grounds. We have moved an application under crpc 301 with citation of Shiv Kumar vs Hukam Chand, where honorable SC observed " A private counsel if allowed free hand to conduct prosecution would focus on bringing the case to conviction. That is a reason why Parliament Applied a bridle on him and subjected his role strictly to the instructions given by the Public Prosecutor."
can someone guide if that is sufficient or we need to do more?

Let the court decide the extent of role to be played by the Private Lawyer.
If there is some serious illegality being committed then take the matter to HC.

Private lawyer has to assist PP and as per his direction, the private lawyer can perform all actions which PP has to perform.
