we have a trend of rising school fees in every school here inspite of opposition from parents but nothing seems to happen and the school owners acting as sharks do not wish to listen to the cries of e parents.
I want to ask is how can we apply the brakes to this ongoing trend.

It cannot be done by you alone it requires other children parents help. You can oppose it and also you can make complaint to the Block Education officer.

If the trend is so menacing you can try through PIL.

I may like to differ with the opinion of the experts. The question arises, from where the schools should pay the salaries of the teachers in the environments of ever-rising cost and also to meet with the other rising overhead charges?
Why not parents go to their respective elected representatives, who should demand subsidsing the education in all the schools out of the education tax the Central Government levies along with other taxes. Why the education should not be made free of cost?

Dev Jyoti and Dhingra are unfortunately talking at two opposite poles. How can we forget arbitrariness of school managements who illogically remain engaged in the hiking of fee at one occasion or the other and charge maximum money in the name of one function or other. The lapes on the part of politicians cannot be protected but this does not give unrestricted power to school managements to do what they deem fit. There is be some mechanism so that poor persons may also think to get education to their wards.

i wish to inform that lst year itself there was a huge hue and cry abot this and the HT city kanpur had also covered this very extensivly ,A case was lodged but the court did not give due importance to the pleas of the parents association. and then after dela tactics as you know the thing subsisded.
yet again they have raised fees considerably. If there is a PIL o save us why dont the advocate community come forward to help .....are they not first parents and facing the same apathy !!!!
