i would like to start a foundation. wht are the rules regarding same. plz provide refernce for me to do detailed study. is it required to be registered. how to deal in finance of same.

Your proposed foundation should be registered as per the societies act, with necessary bye laws. You are advised to consult with your local lawyer to draft bye laws in this regard.

yes. It can also be registered as a trust under the Indian Trusts Act. It is your choice and discretion.

Yes, It can be registered as Society and also as trust depending upon the objects of foundation.

A Company can be incorporated under Sec.25 of Companies Act for this purpose apart from registering it under Societies Act or Trust Act.
