how to get the written detail regarding a place being a "notified area" for the purpose of creating equitable mortgage in uttar pradesh.
if the equitable mortgage is created in area not being "notified area". what will be the status of mortgage so created and is there any remedy to rectify such remedy?

sir i wanted to know that from which state department i will get to know that a particular area is a "notified area" for valid equitable mortgage. For instance a bank wants to create a equitable mortgage in its branch X. now as per law equitable mortgage can be created in areas notified by state government. now from which government department or document i will get to know that X is notified area or not?

Any town which the State Government concerned may by notification in the Official Gazatte, under the provisions of Sec 58 f of Transfer of Property Act will be a notified Ares... Search in GOOGLE for notified areas of your State.

You can contact the Secretary, Law Department or the Secretary, Finance Department of your State Govt. for a list all places where equitable mortgage can be created... According to my knowledge all places where Banks have branches are notified areas.
