The original Nikahanama and religion conversion certificates belonging to A(husband) and B(Wife) have been lost. What procedure they should follow to have authenticated or duplicate copies for the purpose of producing before the Court in a dispute against C.

Visit the office/or person who issued the certificates is too simple to think.

Yes!!In order to get secondary evidence admitted you shall have to lead evidence to prove that you have lost the original and your due diligence could not get success in tracing them hence you are proposing admission of secondary evidence for which an application as well affidavit both would be required. Better produce Qazi also with register wherein original entries were recorded.

Conversion for the purpose of re-marriage is not permitted under law so even if you possess the original certificate, the possibility of success of your case is remote.
