Divorce case ongoing for 3 years

I have filed for a divorce in Jan 2011 basis cruelty & dowry.The case took a contested route.Since last 3 yrs I have been loosing on time & money.Does the Indian law not decree a one sided judgment if the intention of the exparty is only to waste time?

You can file a Revision Petition under article 227 of the Indian Constitution in High Court for speedy disposal of the suit.

Article 227 in The Constitution Of India 1949
* Power of superintendence over all courts by the High Court
Every High Court shall have superintendence over all courts and tribunals throughout the territories interrelation to which it exercises jurisdiction.

If you think the Indian law will take a short cut route as suggested by you, why not you go and sit as a judge and decide your case yourself. What do you mean by telling Indian law, are you not an Indian?
