The concept of 'Ancestral property' is peculiar to Hindu Law. There is no such concept of 'Ancestral property' as far as the Muslims are concerned.

I agree with the opinion of expert Mr. Anirudh tht there is no concept called ancestral property as far as Muslim Personal law is concerned. The daughter is entitled to half the share of the son's entitlement is the law. This certainly differs to that of the Hindu law. As per Hindu law, the daughters are coparceners whereas as per Muslim law there is no such concept.
