Credit cards default issue

Dear Sir,

I have having an Saving account Number with BANK OF BARODA and I have tried to withdraw Rs.10000 on 18-Oct- 2013 from Punjab National Bank ATM at 19:53 Hrs.

ATM machine has given me a single note of 1000 Rs. And rest amount of 9000 Rs. was not received out from the machine. I tried to check and waited for the money but ATM machine got hanged and it was showing as TEMPORARY OUT OF SERVICE. This incident is recorded in the CCTV camera installed at ATM machine Counter.

I have informed to Bank of Baroda (Complaint Number – 2013101912263659) and Punjab National Bank on 19-Oct- 2013 but no action was taken till date and I have NOT received back my Amount of Rs. 9000 in my Bank of Baroda Account Number. The amount of Rs. 9000 is NOT reversed in my Bank of Baroda account number

There are similar cases reported in this Particular PNB ATM where ATM machine doesn't dispense cash and cash gets stuck in the machine. This cash doesn't seems to go back to cash bin/bucket as well so that system can refund the amount back to customers account.


Somehow the machine is setup in a way so that Money gets stuck in the machine and this FRAUD can be done with customers coming to this ATM.

Looks PNB OR Third Party Collects this amount during refill which gets stuck in the machine and doesn't report as Excess amount and cash is not refunded to the customer.

Request you to take appropriate action in this regards and solve this issue so that my amount Rs. 9000 can be reversed in my Bank of Baroda account number.

Default is done in 2007. I did a transaction of 750 rupees and paid the principal amount. Bank imposed a late fees and brought it to a big amount till now but they are willing to settle it .i want to remove the card status from Writeoff to paid

You should send reminder to bankers ombudsman for initiating action against your application.

Earlier per conversation with Aanchal (Bank Representative), Bank has asked me to pay Rs.826 to reverse and clear all the outstanding balance from my account. Although the principal amount was paid back to the bank then even they wanted me to settle this by paying Rs.826. Now but when I asked bank to Update CIBIL with my details, they are now asking Rs. 20987.59 to settle the amount only to update CIBIL. Is it an extortion Business going on??
When My Principal Amount is paid and there is no Outstanding on the principal Amount then why should is Pay this big amount to bank for no reasons. Bank has imposed a big amount on account for No reason and now asking me to pay it. Bank has never sent an statement OR informed me during six years about this information and instead they have update CIBIL with Write Off status of my Card.What should i do ?

yoiur CIBIL score has been affected as you failed to clear outtsnading dues in full . CIBIL will go by bank report .

Rs 20,987 is substantail sum of money to pay particularly so when you had cleared outstanding dues in 2007 .
complain to bank ombudsman against the bank .
you wont be leigible for any credit card unless bank updates CIBIL as to no outstandings on card

I have no idea as why bank is behaving so weird and they are harassing me. Pls advise and what to do ..below is email text recieved from Bank.

This is with reference to your emails dated 28th May, 2013 and 29th May, 2013 regarding the concerns on your IndusInd Bank credit card.

As informed to you in our email dated 28th May, 2013, we wish to confirm that your credit card statements have been regularly sent at your mailing address registered in our records.

As an exception, Bank has offered you the following options available to settle your credit card dues:

A) Reversal of balance outstanding reflecting on your credit card account subject to you paying to the Bank an amount of INR 828.34. However, your past delinquencies will continue to reflect in CIBIL.

B) Reversal of balance outstanding and rectification of the records of your credit card account with CIBIL subject to receipt of payment of INR 20987.59.

Please contact our bank representative Mr. Pradeep for any clarifications.
