Extra charge for carry bag

Today I purchased something from Vishal mega mart. They charged me rs14 extra for Carry bag. The carry bag had logo of vishal mega mart printed on it. When I objected they forced me to pay on which I paid. I had bill of that purchase. Can I go to consumer court for this extra charge or not? Reply please

On April 14 2019 the chandigarh consumer forum had fined Bata India Rs 9000 for asking Consumer to pay Rs 3 for carry bag

Consumer Forum said compelling a customer to pay for paper/carry bag is a clear deficiency in service.

Yes I told the manager about this bata case. But he was not willing to listen. Even asked do what you want to do

Proceed legally and file a case in concerned Consumer Forum mentioning all the details and citation of Bata Case and you would certainly get the refund with penalty please.

In your case the court fee would be Rs 200 and you could draft your own petition with the help of kind and polite court assistants of the court and advocates would charge reasonable fee for drafting the petition .
