Concept of joint family in christain family

i heard there is no concept of joint family in christain family. Can anybody plz confirm the same and i also heard there is supreme court decision also. If anybody have the citation, it will be helpful for me .

thank u very much all.. i have tried all search engines including google sir. Thr is no case , i just want to quote it in a an article regarding concept of joint family in connection with sec.6 of Hindu Succession Act 1956. But am not getting any citations whr supreme court held that thr is no concept of joint family in Christians.So i need to mentions some citations.

Christians do not form a homogeneous group. It appears that joint family system has been in vogue among some sections of Christians in Kerala.

Perhaps, the famous Mary Roy's (mother of Arundhati Roy) case 1986 AIR 1011, 1986 SCR (1) 371 may provide some inputs.
