This query is : Resolved
under Mrtp Act sec 143 the planning authority/ development aoyhority of Pune (PMC) had passed a resolution to charge compounding fees to regularise the unauthorised construction. The levy of exorbitant fees as sought to be stipulated has no nexus with the provision 143 of MRTP Act and it also does not allow the PMC to charge such exorbitant fees

Dear author Amar Jadhav !
That is why we must not think that abbreviations always convey right meaning.
The Act you are talking is ocale at state level.but subject matter of your query and my reply there on is intact without any change from me.

The question raised by querist was definitely about municipal act of Maharashtra and it had nothing to do with monopoly and trade so was expected the proper meaning which amar has told.
