My friend caste is OBC christian, He is in love with Reddiar girl. They both r in love for 3 years and plan to get married, but the girl parents r not accepting him due to caste issue. I have some query regarding this issues:
1. Can my friend change to reddiar caste?
2. After marriage he can change the caste?
Pls give me proper suugestions for my friend to marry Reddiar girl?

No, caste of the person is by birth and it cannot be changed by any manner or process The religion of person can be changed by conversion. Inter-caste or inter-religion marriage possible under the Special Marriage Act,1954.

it is not a legal query as to what is advantage of disadvantage of intercast marriage.

your basic query was not inter-cast marriage it was on inter-religious marriage.

Why you are so much concerned and worried about your friend?
Caste can not be changed.
Prima facie it is an academic topic for debate, discuss with your tutor.

If both spouses remain compatible to each other needs and spend their marital life based on understanding, respect and care for each other, respect and care for each other’s faith/religion, customs, family ……………..married life can be blissful even if IT is inter caste marriage….
There is NO disadvantage in successful marriage be it Inter Caste…Inter Religion
Unsuccessful marriage mired with disputes can be stressful, be it Inter Caste…or not!
