Marriage of one of my friend's son(Petitioner No-2)has been dissolved under Section 28 of Special Marriage Act,1954.Motion No-1 date was in June,2013 and Motion 2 date was in December,2013 A court order has been passed For the motion No-2 proceedings of the court where it is clearly written that the marriage between the petitioners be dissolved by a decree of divorce on mutual consent under section 28 of Special Marriage Act,1954.This order will take effect from the date of passing the decree.
But although more than 4 months have passed since the Motion 2 date we have not received the Decree .I would like to know what time it NORMALLY TAKES to get the Decree Sheet in a District Sub Divisional Court. What further action can we take like approaching the court. Our lawyer is saying as the proceedings of Motion 2 date has been recorded through an order decree sheet is not mandatory

My father had done a will in the year 2007 which was registered with the registrar. We are 6 children (3 Brother and 3 sisters). This will is with one of my brother. according to this will our shop would be share by my three brother and our house would be share by my 2 sisters and 3 brothers and wud not be getting any penny.
He had made a second will in the August 2012 in which he has revoke any old wills made and has distrubuted all his property equally among all the children and made my Brother-in-law as a sole executor of the will. The notary of the second will was done but was not registered.
My dad expired in Dec 2012
My question is which will would be valid out the two, notaried or the registered one? can the notaried one be registered now after his death if its genuiness is proved? As I think the earlier one will was forcefully made. Kinldy advise

Hi,
It has been marriage of 6+ years and found no change in behavior, Her violent behavior had landed me many different issues to face. She physically thrashes me for every talk. She abuses and uses slang language and threaten of sec 498 . Very cheap talks and means she tangles the words. She regularly insult my parents. One day even she tried to stab me with scissor and after the marriage when the baby was inside womb she was giving bump to stomach. Extremely psycho symptoms are noted in piece of paper and I have taken his father sign on it when in family meeting. I have the govt.doctor copy of these where I was injured of human bites on many parts of my body. I believe it is maximum limit to bear these and suffering of marriage of low level. She doesn't posses any society etiquette for any simple talks she fragment and by shouting - showing women empowerment. And we had force to leave the rent house in flat/society. We have a kid of 6 years old.
And she is working lady and threaten me to bear all expenses and take away the child. I am bearing all expenses of school, tuition, coaching and insurance fees. I want to keep the child with me after Divorce/separation as Children education can't handle/responsibility by her. As She watches maximum time TV and shopping. It will impact children education. All monthly expenses are borne by me. Please help/suggest the steps to follow.
Thank you
Hello All,
I am one of the defendant in the Case which is filed against Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority.
My Query is whether Civil Court has Jurisdiction against the MHADA. Sec 71 & 177 of the MHADA act is very clear that Civil Court is barred to entertain all the cases against MHADA.
If you have some Case Laws then kindly suggest.
Regards,

I am a Syrian Christian daughter living in UAE. My parents live in Kerala.I have 2 brothers one of which is mentally handicapped and lives with my parents in kerala. The other brother lives in the US.My parents dont want to give me any part of their property they want to give all to my brother in the US.
I would like to have equal share in the property and assets of my parents and I think it is total injustice to cut me out of my share in the property especially since my husband is unemployed and I am the breadwinner of my family.I had a arranged marriage as per my parents wishes. My parents did give a small amount as dowry at the time of marriage but that is a pittance compared to the total value of their assets.I dont know if my father has written a will.If he has written a will giving everything to the son in US and other son do i have any right to challenge this?
What are my rights as a Syrian Christian woman?
Paying guest's deposit money problem
Sir/Madam,
I stayed in a pg for 2 years and i payed the deposit of Rs5000/-(which the owner has verbally promised to refund it by the time i leave if i give 1 month notice or if he gives us 1 month notice).
In that pg so many theft happend like 3 laptops of 3 girls were stolen by a boy and no actions were taken by my owner.Bcoz of this all girls left, only we three girls are left.On 5th april (last month) he asked we 3 girls to vaccate the pg within 30th april bcz he is going to renovate/painting/white-wash the house. He stopped giving food and other facilities and mentally tortured us.
Now when we left the pg and we asked for the deposit of "Rs5000+Rs1000(he dint given food)=Rs6000/-" then he is telling the because of u 3 girls water is leaking from one of the Bathroom and i have to break the bathroom and construct a new one.I ll not give u any money, bcz for renovation of new bathroom i have to invest Rs1,00000/-,so dont come to me again and again otherwise i ll send legal notice to all 3 of u to pay more for my bathroom.
I dont have any Rental agreement or rent receipt. Please suggest something
