Background -
My parents had separated legally somewhere in 1990,
my father later remarried somewhere in 2000.
He did not have children from this wedlock.
My father expired in April 2014.
Current scenario -
There is no will that he has left behind.
I have no clue of what he has left behind except for a House.
I have NO intentions of troubling my Step mother in terms of getting a share in the wealth my father has left behind.
However my concern is that after Step mother passes away whatever is left behind should not go into wrong hands, expected miscreants are - her sister and her brother in law.
Question -
What legal options do i have to avoid - The property being sold out either by Step mother OR illegal occupancy after her death by her relatives.
A Rent Agreement for 11 months was drawn up between landlord and tenant on standard terms but due to oversight the clause asking the tenant to vacate on a month's notice before expiry of the 11 months was not incorporated. Can such oversight cause problems should the landlord need the premises for his own use. Or wait till the expiry of the 11 months agreement.
there is supreme court judgement that once the landowner has dedicated his private land for passage and that land has become a public passage then owner can not claim any compensation for the same and also cannot encroach it...i am facing this problem as i live in urbanised village for which mcd has no record of streets in my area..the mcd has laid down sewerage and jal board lines and also maintains those streets but does not take any action against the encroachment on those streets on the pretext that these are private streets..what to do in this case...how mcd can maintain a street , put sewerage lines and maintain it for more than forty years and yet deny that it does not lie vested with mcd...is there any judgement that can help me and i can pressurise mcd to take such street in record and to maintain it under dmc act for prevention of any encroachment on that street

Whether any person can be treated as a member and share holder of a Co-operative Housing Society before permission/approval for admission as a member by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies?

MY UNCLE WAS MURDERED BY THE HIS TENANT AND ITS FAMILY MEMBERS WERE HELD RESPONSIBILITY AND LIFE IMPRISONMENT WAS AWARDED.
BUT RECENTLY WE HAVE COME TO KNOW THAT THEY WILL BE IN PAROLE FOR 1 MONTH.
BUT OUR FAMILY MEMBERS ARE VERY MUCH DISTURBED AS THEY MIGHT TAKE REVENGE AGAINST US.
IS THERE ANY OPTION THROUGH WHICH WE CAN STAY THERE RELEASE.

Sir,
Honorable High Court of xxxxxxx stays interim maintenance of wife for one month and again extends the stay order for another three months.
How many times these types of extension can be granted?
Wife asking for maintenance for daughter and husband prays for custody of 6 years old daughter. Husband refuses to pay any maintenance for daughter and in spite he asks custody of child and well maintain child with him.
Can court send father to jail if maintenance amount for daughter not paid?
