Hi All,
I am in the middle of a cancellation of a suite and have a query in which I need your help
There are two plaintiffs involved, a husband and a wife. However, only the husband was present to sign the consent terms in court on behalf of his wife. These consent terms have been accepted by the court.
As per the consent terms, we will be entering into a cancellation deed for the previous sale agreement, which will be done with a registrar.
Problem: for the payment settlement we have been asked to make the payment only in the name of the husband while being assured that both husband and wife will be present for the cancellation agreement in front of the registrar.
Query: Is there a possibility that this could create an opportunity for the wife to make claims in the future? Are there any other risks or issues that we should be aware of, or is this arrangement entirely secure?
Important note: There is no indication in the consent terms as to who should be the recipient of the payment. I am assuming that it should be both husband and wife as the agreement of sale and court case was filed in a joint name

Good morning sir/ma'am
I am working as a consultant in a reputed hospital of Delhi. I have been hired on retainer ship for a tear, which is extendable every year on mutual basis. I told my hr am expecting and want to know the company policy for maternity leave. They flat out told me since am a professional, on retainer and not a full time employee of the organisation. M not entitled for maternity benefits and that i should resign. My offer letter also doesn't mention anything about this and states that m not entitled for any other leaves. I need clarity on whether this is right or should I try to get into litigation

Can I take legal action against my previous employer for spoiling my name by sending mails to clients that they have removed me.Few of clients told me that. My previous company removed me on the spot without any reason and notice. They have such mal practice to do that with employees.As they removed me I joined another company and turning clients to new company.Now previous company is trying to take revenge by spoiling my name via sending mails to clients. My previous employer is an Indian company. What action can be taken?

Quash petition was filed for a criminal case in high court last year. as per HC instructions notice was given to respondent which was returned. 2 days back it came on bench and argued that the respondent is not staying in India and he got citizenship at US and prayed for quash petition to be allowed.
Justice instructed to issue a notice to respondent again and review the case after 4 weeks. In the night while checking the status of case it was found "case status" as "case disposed" and "nature of disposal" : "contested - disposed of no costs". The order is yet to put.
want to know what it meant - is it a favourable order for petitioner that his petition is allowed or the petition is dismissed ? experts pl answer.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a regular employee of one of the 2nd generation IIM working since 2018. As I am applying for
a regular job in the centrally funded institute's of repute, wherein these institutes asks to apply through proper channel.
In this connection when I demanded for the No Objection Certificate from my employer they replied and hesitant in providing me the required document reason stating "If your current role is regular and has high importance for the Institute then, you would agree that we should be a little hesitant in giving you an NOC (unless and until you are able to help us create an alternate inside the organization)."
I humbly request your kind support to help me on this matter and guide me. As your guidance will be a great help for me to put my stand before the Institution.

Error in gazette of india
My friends father's name in his 10th and 12th marksheets contained only his father's initials while his other documents contained his full name.
He got Gazette of India made. His age got entered wrong. He was 19 but got entered 18. While Newspaper notification and affidavit contains his right age/DOB and through these two documents he got his fathers name corrected in his 10th and 12th marksheets.
There is a small line written on his 10th marksheet where civil law and everything is mentioned. While 12th marksheet is perfectly fine.
Will it create a problem for him in the furture during verification of documents?
