Dear Sir,
District Jhabua of MP is a notified area, it is a restriction for a non ST person to purchase land from the ST(Sec 165, 170 MP-LRC). Whether a company having all its directors belonging to ST can be treated as a company having the entity of a ST and can it be allowed to purchasee the land. Is there any provision by which a company can purchase the land from the ST (except land acquisition done by the state & granted to the company). pls provide relevant sugestions/acts

I have filled one complain u/s 138 of N.I act wherein i found during trial that husband and wife were holding joint account &opreate by either of them. At time of issuing notice i could not idetify signature so by mistake i have issued notice to wife but in real cheque is issued by husband .I have filled complain against wife now my question wheather i can ractify my mistake at this stage?

Hi,
I brought a property in Mumbai. As I am not in India hence I have given a Power of attorney in the name of father. I am not sure the exact content and the validity of this PoA.
However, now I am worried that due to the pressure from my brother my father would sale my flat and give the money to him.
Can some one help me in this matter? How do I ensure that such transaction cannot be happened? What are the possibility?
All the documents related to the property are in my name. The property also has a very minimal (4 lacs) of home loan on it.

WE R MANUF. AND SENDING STOCK FROM U.P(FINISHED GOODS)TO OUR BRANCHES .NOW UP STO WANTED TO TAX UNDER LOCAL VAT. F- FORMS RECD FROM ALL BRANCHES . ACTUAL SUPLLY WERE MADE. BUT SALES MADE FROM BRANCHES ONLY TO 2/3 CUSTOMERS AFTER RECIEVING THE .PO. ON BRANCHES. IS IT OK ? WHAT WE CAN PROVIDE TO THEM SA PROVE THE STOCK TRANSFER. ANR COURT REF.PLS HELP US

A prosecution witness has made a statement to the police in which he has stated that 'he is the neighbour of the accused'. Later, during his deposition before the Magistrate, he has stated that 'he has seen the accused first time during the incident'. As he has made two contradictory statements what is the next course of action available to the Defence Lawyer? (Cross-examination is pending).

a cheque is dishonoured on 10.10.2008 by bank. cheque recived to party on 24.10.2008. party issue the legal notice 19.11.2008. dishonoured date and legal notice date difference is more than one month can party file a cirminal case .

Dear Legal Experts,
A workman was terminated on grounds of surplusage/reorganisation and global recession.He challanges this termination in labour court.
The employer in his statement to the court also admitted that his termination was not due to any misconduct.
Knowing that the court cases takes 6 to 8 years to decide the workman keep on trying for other jobs but whenever he got some positive response from some other employer his inability to produce experience/character and releiving certificate become a major problem
in getting a new job.
My question is since the employer has himself declared that the termination was not due to any misconduct can the workman ask for these certificates from his employer or he has to pray the court to direct the employer to release these certificates to him so that he does
not face any problem while he is trying to get new job in order to feed his family.
Whether doing so his case will become weak?
