Opinion

In the complaint dated 21-11-2016 addressed to the S.H.O. P.S. Kushaiguda, Samatha Rana complaint against (1) Mr. Pathipati Laxminarayana (2) Mr. Pavithra and (3) Dr. Shanta Kumari (wrongly shown as Dr. Shanthanarayana) and other family members. This is contained in Page No.3 of the complaint, which reads as follows:
“And it now goes beyond the limits compelling me in approaching you again with a hope of taking a stringent action against (i) Mr. Laxminarayana (ii) Mr. Pavithra and (iii) Dr. Shanthanarayana and other family members”.
Furthermore, in the last line she stated that
“So kindly register a case against them according to law and take serious action against them”
On the basis of this complaint an FIR was registered against three people A1 is Mr. Laxminarayana and A3 is Mr.Pavithra. It is stated that in the FIR A2 i.e. Dr. Shanta Kumari (wrongly shown as Dr. Shanthanarayana) supported them. In the Charge sheet itself it is recorded that the Complainant had stated that only A1, Laxminarayana had committed the alleged offence but A2 Dr. Shanta Kumari (wrongly shown as Dr. Shanthanarayana) and A3, Mr. Pavithra were included.
The Hon’ble II Additional Junior Civil Judge Cum XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, at Malkajgiri by an order dated 24th day of February, 2018 was pleased to discharge Dr. Shanta Kumari vide orders in Crl.M.P.No.1019 of 2017. Once a competent court has discharged Dr. Shanta Kumari it would be given cause of action for Dr. Shanta Kumari to proceed against Samata Rana, Complainant, under the provisions of Section 3 (p) and (q) of the Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Apart from this, Smt. Samata Rana has filed five suits, viz: (1) O.S.No. 140 of 2017, 141 of 2017, 142 of 2017, 143 of 2017 and 144 of 2017 on the file of Additional Junior Civil Judge, at Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy District and all of them were rejected. Hence, it is a fit case for proceeding against Samata Rana

Power of attorney (poa)

My one colleague given me a power of attorney (POA) in 2007 for a piece of land against an amount paid to him earlier for his urgent needs. Please answer my queries are:
1. Whether he can cancel the deed /power of attorney at any time without informing me.
2. How long the deed/power of attorney is valid though there is nowhere mentioned about any time limit. How long it is legally valid.
3. Whether the said piece of land (whereon I have been given power of attorney) I can sale to anybody.
4. Whether the said piece of land (whereon I have been given power of attorney) can be registered and then proceed for mutation in my name.
5. If I would do above all, whether my colleague can challenge my legally in the court of law.
6. Whether I totally safe legally forever.
