Why do people mention the imaginary Interstate Migration Act

There is no law against intestate migration. Some groups in Maharashtra have been inventing an imaginary Interstate Migration Act against people of U.P. & Bihar. There is no Interstate Migration Act in India. The nearest in name is the Interstate Migrant Workmen Act 1979, which controls only contractors, not workers or travellers. And there is no law that one must report to any local police station in the arrival state for travel or work. I think a clarification and correction is necessary from those groups.

Mumbai SRA building

Hi,
Is it possible for the builder to convert a part of his SRA building as a saleable portion to the outsider? The builder is saying he will get OC and also get it registered in my name since he is converting half of the SRA Building as saleable portion.. Is it safe to buy such a flat, and can I resell it in a years time or put it on rent?
Would be grateful for your expert advise..
Thank you

Daughters share in property willed to son

My father sold a residential property which he inherited through will from his father in 2004. In 2014, my father sold the property and with its sale proceeds plus some more funds, he purchased another residential property. The new residential property is jointly registered in his name, my mothers name and myself each having equal share. In 2019, my father executed a will stating that after his death, the property will belong to me and my wife (his daughter in law). My question is - after my fathers death, does my married sister have any rightful share in the said property? If yes, how much share? If no, can she or her husband still trouble us legally?

Trying to avoid criminal proceedings

A civil case has been filed for correction in khatauni which was made fraudulently. Now assume that the civil court has passed the order for correcting the khatauni back to its rightful owner.

My question is Can a sub divisional officer (SDO) ask to file FIR while correcting entries in land revenue record under Section 33/39, Land Revenue Act?

Whether a judicial magistrate would be required in this scenario to file FIR even after the civil judge has passed the necessary order?

The decree holder does not want criminal proceedings at all.

Mistake in share certificate issued by the society

I purchased a flat in 2010 and applied for a share certificate from the society. I am the 2nd buyer for the said property. while purchasing the flat, i have not received any share certificate from the owner. While issuing the share certificate, the society has not put the name of the 1st buyer name and given the share certificate directly in my name.

Now after 9 years, when i want to sell my flat i am facing difficulty since the buyer is asking me to include the name of the 1st owner. I have approached the society to help me out but the society is saying that i should have been careful while getting the share certificate from the society. The society is putting the entire blame on me and not helping me anyway. I am stuck with the sale transaction of my flat. Please let me know how this matter can be resolved by the society.
