Dear All,
An NRI lady staying in U.K. is a beneficiary to the Estate of her Late Mother who was a resident of India. Now the NRI lady has become mentally incapable and has issued Enduring Power of Attorney in favour of her husband which has been duly accepted and stamped by the Court of Protection there.
Now the Executor of the Estate wants to remit Sale proceeds of the flat sold owned by her Late mother to the NRI lady. TDS has been duly deducted and paid by the purchaser u/s 195 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the amount net of TDS has been deducted in the Ordinary Savings a/c account of the Estate with a nationalized bank. The problem is that the NRI lady does not have a bank account in her own name in U.K. where the funds could be remitted. The Bank people are refusing to remit funds to the bank account of the husband of the lady, who is her Enduring Power of Attorney holder, citing the reason that the husband can only accept funds in the name of her wife but cannot his wife's funds in his own name.
Kindly advise how to remit the funds.

I was working as Sales Representative in a MNC from August 2002 & resigned on July 2007 & again Joined as Sales Officer on October 2007 & on 25.03.12 I have resigned from the company as Area Sales Executive.
On certain issue they had taken my resignation & on mail they have accepted my resignation. From reliable sources came to know that they will not do my F&FS.
Kindly suggest future course of action & procedure of F&FS.

I am sorry. Again I am posting the subject. Please spare some time for this. I was a Kerala Government employee having 09 years and 02 months of service (09/08/2000 to 27/10/2009). Through proper channel I got selected as Assistant Professor in Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal and joined on 30/10/2009.CAU requested the Kerala Govt to pay my pensionary liabilities for counting my past serve for service benefits. Kerala Govt denied the same by saying that there is no provision for paying pro rata pension liabilities in Kerala. My humble query is 1. What are the components of pro rata pensionary liability? Whether it contain only DCRG or DCRG along with Commutation of pension amount also? Or some other component also? 2. What I can do now since Govt of Kerala denied the payment? 3. Whether employee himself can pay the same? In that case same amount has to pay? Please help me in this regard. Rajesh JB
Payment of bonus
WHat about the bonus? an employee having Basic + D.A. more than 10,000 but whos salary i.e. Basic + DA was less than 10000/- in the previuos years and he got the bonus for those years, then,
Is such employee is eligible to claim bonus in the year in which his Basic+ DA is more than 10000/-?
