Dear sir
My wife got share in his father's property. This property was owned by my wife grand father since 1950. Now my wife decided to sell that property. Now what tax she has to pay. Is any capital gain will be charged on it?
Other question is long term capital gain tax will be charged @10% if no indexation cost is less from the selling cost of property is it true? And if so then actual property buying cost will be deducted or not please advise us

My name is Mrs. Merchant, im married n have 2 kids, but we r living with my parents in a parsi colony and the flats here in the colony belong to the trust.
Tenants living here are on leave n licence basis.
The flat in which we r living is under litigation since the last 30 years. This litigation started between my father n the trustees. He lost the case in lower court n now have filed appeal. Before final disposal of the entire case, if any one or both my parents r no more, can my husband take over the litigation in his name ? He is Muslim n not parsi.
Do the trustees have the power to remove is from the flat (after my parents) if the litigation is still going on ?
Please advice how do we take over after my parents ?

My separately living wife filed 406 for maintenance.
I am a B.Com graduate, salaried person working in a private shop. She claimed that I am earning 40k so need 20k as maintenance that is much higher then my whole salary.
I have no IT returns and have salary cum exp. certificate from my shop.
I am afraid if court favors a higher amount as maintenance then my capacity.
1. If I don't follow court order and don't pay the maintenance, how much punishment or duration I will be in jail?
2. Will that require 'bail' for me to be released?
Sorry for silly questions but it will really help to know the consequences in advance.

Dear this is iam writing on behalf of my sister. 20 years back she was married to our maternal uncle He is a central govt employee.He started tourturing her sent her back to our house she was there with us in a hope that one day he will come back.10 years before he got married.nw he is suffering from liver cirrosis he has returned to us. but he has given second wifes name as his nominee.Nw my sister is a cancer patient we cant wait for the time to pass.hw we have to proceed. I have purchased a flat in around 1981 from the builder directly with agreement having stamp of Rs. 5/-
Now my building is going for conveyance and i have attached all the supporting documents of 1980's
Please tell me sir, can adjudication department impose penalty ? If they do impose how can i appeal to the collectors office in Fort, Mumbai? What is the procedure?

sir i m a contractual employee.i m working in doordarshan since july 2008.1st time i was appointed from BECIL on contract basis but from November 2012 prasar bharti said that now i appoint you on my direct contract and a high level committee took my interview and then i got one year contract but now our officer told that you will give interview and written again. Sir our contractual appointment become against sanction post and after 6 years our officer told again for same prosses.sir pls advise me.

Property distribution between sons

I am Ritesh Kumar, I am a Fresher graduate.
I have my one brother,mother but My father is not still alive.
My father has some personal lands and a home.
i want to do MBA so i asked to my mother to give me the fee for my
higher studies but se denied and told me that she never gave me money
(fee) after that i told to her that she gave me to my shares (father's
Property) but she again denied and said that she never give me a
little part of my shares and also my brother threatened me to kill if
i ask for my shares.
is there any rights for me to take my shares from them.
and the shares will be distributed between how many members.
please give your proper attention on me.please suggest me what can i do.
