Hello,
I would need your advise or suggestions in the below matter. We have purchased an apartment in a community that has 164 apartments. The builder promised various amenities such as swimming pool, skating rink, club house, gym and STP. We recently came to know that the above mentioned amenities are constructed in a karabi land or the land that belongs to the government but he claims property tax has been paid for this land for 15 years. Will there be a problem for this in the future. Kindly advise how to proceed in this situation

Can we file a Private complaint for public nuisance? Will the court admit such complaints? Lawyer provided me the draft with title "PRIVATE COMPLAINT FILED UNDER SECTION 200 OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE R/W SECTION 190(1) OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE FOR THE OFFENCE U/S 268 OF INDIAN PENAL CODE"

My query is that is a family settlement deed considered a legal document?
If we have a family settlement deed duly notarised - according to which my husband had given his property to his mother...can that document be presented in DDA to show that the flat has been given to mother and does not belong to son.
It is not registered but is notarised.
It was also made in Jammu court....will that document be valid in DDA ?

the facts of the case are as under:
1.A civil suit was filed on my mother by her sister in law.
2. Both are residing in the same house .
3. my mother is staying at Ist Floor & her sister in ,law stays at Ground Floor.
4. The subject matter of the suit was a small store installed under the staircase at ground floor
allowing ingress & outgress to Ist Floor residents from side of the house.
5. The case was fought for 20 years.
6. My mother lost the case in Feb,2013.
7.On losing the case my mother was giving possession of the store to the plaintiff alongwith cost of suit
by cheque of Rs.261 on taking proper receiving.
8.The plaintiff refused to give any receiving, but produced another letter claiming entire possession on
ground floor.
9. For 2 years the store remained locked,The keys are still with my mother.
10. After 2 years on 09/06/2015 my mother received a show cause notice from the plaintiff via court as to
show cause why the possession has still not been given to the plaintiff.
11. The hearing is on 07/07/2015.
12. Please suggest as to how my mother should plead before the court , what reply should be given,
should we produce the cheque & the letter we had given to the plaintiff which they refused to accept.
13. Is it a serious matter, can we produce the letter, the keys & the cheque before the court without the
assistance of any lawyer and bring the matter to an end.

Sir/Madam, I have an query regarding Registration under SSI Please help me in this regard with your valuable advice.
1) Can a automobile dealer can be registered under SSI.
2) If yes, then please provide me procedure to do so, want to know, whether can we apply for registration online.
Experts please help me by providing useful link or advice.

my father got farming land in gujrat by his mother side grandparent. my dad was raised by grand parents since he was 7 months old.his grand father died when he was around 5 years old.after that in inheritance property grand mother's name and his name was put in.as grand mother is step mother of my dad's real mother and they didn't get along well. so grandmother did not want to give anything to her.at that his mother went to court for her right on property but they just put her name as a legal guardian. after around 25 years now wants a property again so she went to court again and now court cancelled the last heirship (INHERITANCE ) of grandmother.and my father and his parent did not live together so she will not give anything to my father and she most likely give everything to her 3 other children rather than my father. so what can we do now.please help.

I am planning to file a divorce case against my as she is harassing me and my parents a lot along with her family.She is not agreeing for mutual divorce as well.I just want to know is there any legal document that i can prepare and have her sign on it which will help me to have the child custody if there is a divorce.please help

My Uncle is NRI in Canada, a court summon was sent under his name to his India address which was not accepted by the Watchman because he does not live there.
Can the court do an ex-parte without proof of service of summon?
How does the court send summon to NRI?
Does he need to do anything or wait for the summon to be served on him?
