Opinion seeking from valued members for the following.
1) cheque presented in bank 02/08/2012
2)returned fm bank of concern 4/08/2012
3)intimation from bank received 15/08/2012
4)legal notice sent on road 31/08/2012
4) legal notice received by cheque issuer 04/09/2012
5) the same notice ack DT by me on 11/09/2012
5) 15 days time limit 15 days time fm receipt of notice expired on 19/09/2012
Case filed on court 09/10/2012
In this above matter Kindly clarify
15 days receipt of legal notice or ackment DT of postal authorities received by me on 11/09/2012
Case filing expiry is 11/10/2012 or 4/10/2012
Other party objecting not filed in time frame of 04/10/2012
Please clarify

Hi,
I was working for a digital media company (ABC). Under payroll of company ABC.
I got another opportunity in Company XYZ. I served 30 days’ notice period for company ABC as per my employee agreement and my employer ABC accepted my resignation.
However now my company ABC is not providing me Full and Final Settlement.
They are saying that couple of my advertiser are not paying the amount because of that they hold my F&F.
I discussed with my advertiser they said they were not happy with the campaign performance and ABC Company sent a legal notice to then.
I am suffering bcoz as a sales man I was involve. Though in my offer letter it was not mention that my salary or my F&F settlement depend on P&L for the company.
Please let me know in this case, how I should get my full and final settlement and what all options I have. It has been more than a month and I am still struggling to get my F&F settlement.

I have a small query.
Can the procedure of argument be completed if the petitioner is absent on that day in the court?
There was no cross questioning from both the parties. The respondent has agreed to the petitioner's statement. And even the petitioner has agreed to the respondent's statement.
Hence,there was no base for taking any objections and no cross questioning.
The case is for nullity u/s 25, non-consummation, special marriage act. And both the parties are agreeing for this decree.
Now on the date of argument the petitioner will be absent. So will the procedure go ahead or will the court give next date?

My name is Shanti agarwal. Five years back i had a credit card. The limit of credit card was 15000/-. I paid around 18-20k at that time and after that stopped paying and shifted to a new city.
My question is now after 5 years citi bank has put a lien of Rs 45000/- on my hdfc account. Can a third party bank has the right to do so. I was aware that only the mother bank ( i mean citi bank will put lien only on his bank account) can do so. How Can citi bank can put lien on my hdfc account. Is it right lawfully??
Kindly guide on this please.

Hi,
I had an query about leave treatment during notice period.
There are many views on leave treatment during notice period. Few companies allow to adjust the leaves in notice period or even to take leaves. But most of the companies do not allow leaves to be taken or adjusted from the day employee resigns.
I am looking for clarity on this.Can some one let me know if there is any legal document which clarifies that leaves can be adjusted against the notice period or they could be availed during the notice period.

Hi ,
I have some farming land. I gave it to somebody just for farming (no any written document between the two ,verbal only) .It is almost 20 years he is using that land for farming. Can he claim for the land .Is there any law like this ?

I am staying in the Hsg society which is not registered under Co-op Hsg Act. In the society there are two shops inside the building running private coaching classes for University Courses. The society members has objection regarding the running the classes in the residential premises. Kindly advice us.

Mr D a friend of mine working as manager is a psu bank in kolkata received summon from some ludhiana civil court. Asking to be present on 14 Oct. Signed by civil judge. No details only case name mentioned(some bank vs party). He is unable to figure any connection. What to do...its not possible to go so far that too in so short notice?
