I am bachelor 25, living with my joint family in which my parents, and one eldest married brother(a wife,2 sons and one daughter) and 2 elders married sisters are.
My father (age 65) is the only heir of my grandfather property (one house and lands) and my father sold some part of this lands and acquired some other land.
At this time my father's properties ( one house other than my grandfather's house and lands other than my grandfather's land) are. But all immovable properties are in the name of my father.
My mother also has some land in the name of her that is got from her mother's heir.
My questions are
1) my father's /grandfather's properties ancestral?
2) my married sisters the heirs to take equal share as me and my brother have in my father's and my mother's properties.
3) my father's owned properties whether acquired or transferred by my grandfather, the sole and independent owner to take decision as he please.
Please provide very relevant laws and details about the distribution of that properties whether it is of my father's and my mother's properties or transferred through by my grandfather to my father.
Thanking you sir

in one of the Banks, X was a clerk from 2001 to 2010. He was promoted as an officer during 2011. He is working now as an Officer. Now ( during 2016) the bank has intiated disciplinary action for the alleged misconduct done in 2005 by the staff when he was a clerk. As per the Staff Service Regulations of the Bank, Chief Manager is the disciplinary authority for the clerical cadre and General Manager is the disciplinary authority for the Officer cadre.
Who shall be the disciplinary authority, as the alleged misconduct was done during the tenure of clerical cadre but action intitiated while he was an officer. Chief Manager or General Manager?

Dear Sir,
This is furher to my query on payment of gratuity for services rendered by me to HBL Power systems ltd., for 4 yrs 10 months 15 days. Employer reseponse to my request to release gratuity is as given below:
Quote:
Dear Mr.Rajesh Kumar,
We are aware of the Gratuity Law and susequent Rulings given by the various
High Courts and the Apex Court.
Pls note that the Government of India did not amend the law in line with
Apex Court Judgement.Hence 5 ( Five ) Years is the stipulated period for
earning Gratuity.Hence Supreme Court judgement is the precedent and not
binding. It is entirely left to the discretion of the Employer. Also please
note that interpretation of the Law is very difficult and it is not
uniform.Law is enacted by the Executive for the benefit of the Public at
large ( Public interest ).Courts will interpret based on the specific
cases.Hence you mght have observed that judgements differ from one Court
to another on identical cases.
Hope our above readings might have clarified you in this regard.
