In a Pvt. Ltd. Company Directors and Managing Director signed an agreemnet for extension of Managing Directorship post for another 5 years by violating the Article of Association and Companies Act 1956. Can a share holder challange this agreement on High Court. Also this agreement is not passed in the AGM. It will be highly appreciate if any one can give case reference in this regard.

Husband drives wife out of the house in middle of night. All belongings are with him. He and his parents insult and illtreat the girl and her parents and leave no option to communicate. They dont respond to phone call or sms or e-mail. So girls parents approached his relatives to bring about some mode of communication to have a reconciliation. Husband is alleging that by approaching relatives the girls parents have defamed him and wants to file a suit for defamation. Is it possible? Is there sufficient ground to file for defamation?

US Federal Court in Patent violation case restrained Microsft Corp. from selling its product MS Word in US due to Patent Infringement. It was directed in the order as "Microsoft Corporation is hereby permanently enjoined" from selling Word 2003 & 2007. Injunction would be effective from 11.1.2010.
PLEASE CHECK WHETHER IT WILL HAVE EFFECT ON EXISTING USERS OF WORD 2003 AND 2007

Divorce
My sister in-law by cast Muslim (Dawoodi Vohra), got married on 29th October 2006. Her husband is working in UAE on work permit. After marriage she stayed with him in UAE for 5 months and returned to India on 12th March 2008 on his husband's wish. During the period he has not paid any maintenance expense. Now, he wants a divorce for which he has come to India. Please suggest as to whether she can claim for any lump sum or monthly maintenance expense and in what way it should be proceeded.
