What is the punishment for filing a false allegation against someone with false information, in a police station to bring about mental harrassment to the person on whom the complaint is being lodged?
If the allegation that the complainant has filed is proven to be false by the concerned victim, what action can be sought by the victim against the complainant?

In Indian Penal Code section 304 B and 498 A inserted by central government after so many year of independence i.e. 1986 & 1983. In IPC the defination of each important word is define in general explanations i.e. section 6 to 52 IPC. but surprisingly the word " Relative of her husband" which has been used in section 304 B & 498 A IPC not at all define in genral explanations. here is a problem arises that brother in law is also a relative of husband. so if a brother do cruelty with her married sister then whether he is responsible of offence under section 498 A IPC? COZ, HE IS RELATIVE OF HUSBAND. please answer ths query.

Dear Lawer,
On March 3rd/1996, My mother brought a plot with GPA( General power of attorney) from a Vendor (56 years old) and at that time the vendor had 3 sons and all were Major, but they have not signed the GPA.
On 15 Dec-2003,my mother registered the same property to my name as an Attorney Holder.We have 3 shops from past 4 years and all the taxes,electricity bills etc are in my name.
Now, the 3 sons of the Vendor are threatening for randsome,else to book a case against us?
Could you please advice? I heard that after 13 years,they do not have any rights

Reliquishing of immovable property inherited by legal heir to co-owner through a registered DEED OF RELEASE/RELIQUISHMENT. Q 1. Is it legal. 2. Does it transfer right ,title and interest. 3. Is it in any way legally less binding then a SALE OR GIFT DEED. 4. Is the law same for the country or different for different states in this particular matter. Thanks

Police Complaint
Sir,
A land is being encroached and Police refused to write or receive written complaint against the encroacher’s. In that case can I send it through registered letter either to PS In charge or to SP of that area? What should I do? Thanks
