Tech-Savvy Lawyers

LCI has membership in excess of 58K as on date and from my short experience in this forum (being enrolled only during the Mid Jan 2010), I find there are few experts in the law fraternity who proactively and intellectually participate in all the debates raised in the online forum which is an indication as to the minor percentage of tech-savvy advocates in the country. Please correct me if I am wrong. All of us should fully support the visionary efforts of LCI so that our next generation lawyers are fully geared up to face any professional challenges on the long run. Please join this debate and post suggestions / feedback

Application of Revision of Order

Recently I received a copy of the Revision Application as a respondent. I was surprised to read these allegation against the Magistrate which reads as follows "It is submitted that the above is WITHOUT APPLICATION OF MIND of the Hon. Metropolitan Magistrate" and further "the order has been passed with ulterior motive to support respondent" both I personally feel are highly objectionable and against the respected Judiciary.

In my reply/argument can I take objections to the above.

Regards

Professional Issues

Advocate's job is the noble profession. Lot of sanctity values are attached. Mistake of a doctor only kills a patient but Wrong Precedents and Corrupt unethical practices in our profession kills the SOCIETY AT LARGE which is more serious.

Why can't LAWYERSCLUBINDIA allot an exclusive section for Lawyers only to login and post all their occupational hazards and challenges faced by them on day to day basis so that our profession gets the right due it deserves in the society at large. I mean to say, Bonafide identity of all law graduates can be verified by the moderator so that a pool of Intellectual database can be established using latest Information Technology. It would amply unearth Lot of Makkads and Vishals to proactively participate in the Online Discussion Forum. Else it would end up participation of only few experts.
