Que.1.How Long does a Divorce Suit stay Live after Filing where it was represented for few hearing and their after it was left abandoned by the Petitioner and his Lawyer?What would be the outcome of suit and what next in such a situation?

In such case, the court can maximum issue a notice to the petitioner for the next hearing and thereafter on next hearing may declare the case dismissed on default. No time limit is provided to do so.
If the petitioner wants to get it restored, he should come with concrete facts leading his absence for the hearing on which the case was fixed and also the reasons leading to his filing the application belatedly, if any. In such situation a delay condone application is also liable to be moved along-with such application otherwise it should be moved wihin a period of 30 days of passing of the order.
