Dear Sir.
My daughter Worked in a software company for 4 years and 7 months having a 5 day week.
On the basis of 5 day week of the company I feel my daughter is eligible for payment of Gratuity as she has put a continuous service of 4 yrs and 215 days (July 1,2008 to Jan 31,2013) Form I was served to the company but the company HR deptt while calculating no of working days (Including holidays of National leaves but excluding holidays of week ends)says that she is not eligible for gratuity payment as the no. of working days are less than 190 days in the 5th year
Kindly give ur valuable advice.

DEAR SIR,
My father worked in tamil nadu urban land tax department as record clerk from 1988 to 2008. In the year 2008 he expired. While he died he was in service. So we presented an application to the commissioner of urban land tax for appointment under compassionate ground.
We submitted our application on 2009 and at that time there was three members in seniority. I applied for the post of junior assistant. From that day till today there is no change in seniority still it is three persons in the list. I asked the official why it is keep on delaying they are saying that three members are not at all enquiring about the job. Now my question is the commissioner(IAS) can take a decision and can send a notice for those three stating that asking them to give a no objection letter in appointing me abating the seniority. Is there any such power for an IAS officer. Please reply me soon.........
Priviledge leave
In the wage revision agreement executed between organisation and union there is a clause stating " If staff members resigns from the services within 10 years from the date of joining then shall not be eligible for Privilege leave encashment"
Is it contradiction with the act governing leave. Or the organisation is right to set it own rules relating to leave enchashment.
