Delay in joining of govt officer on promotion

I am working in central govt office. I got promotion and have to join my new station at the earliest to get promotion benefits. My superior is not willing to relieve me immediately. Can I approach the CAT to avoid loss to my promotion and also further loss to my seniority and next promotion as all my batch mate have already joined their new station. Can I claim compensation to my superior by name not by department if it proves that joining to my new station on promotion has been delayed intentionally by the superior.

Advice on job rules

I have been selected for the post of Gr A. Chemist in Geological Survey of India. The post has a 3 and half month training period, 2 year probation period after training and 3 year surety bond period after the training period.

But I have also applied for the post of Assistant professor under west bengal govt.before I received offer letter for the post in Geological Survey of India.

Do I have to inform the authority of such job application?

Do I require permission from authority for attending the interview Assistant professor?

If I am selected for the post of Assistant professor what is the appropriate method to resign from the post in Geological Survey of India and join the post of Assistant professor?

I donot want to claim any service continuation and do not expect any financial liability from central govt.

Is it mandatory to serve the full notice period.

Hello ,

I am working in MNC since last 1.5 years. I am getting an better opportunities and good hike in another company and gave me a notice period of one month but current organisation want me to serve notice period of 3 months althrough I have given a option to buyback the remaining notice period but they are not ready to leave me and on a very last day they replied on my resignation stating that the serve the notice period of 3 month and when I resign on a second last day of a month immediately my manager hold my salary and does not say anything to me and my new organisation does not want to extend the joining date even for a week. and nothing is mention in seperation policy and my joining letter which states the minimum days of serving the notice period however my offer letter says "your service may be terminated any time by either side giving 3 months notice period or payment of CTC in lieu thereof manager's approval and satisfactory handover of responsiblities". when I approach to HR regarding this they said only your reporting manager will decide the last working day in organisation and arguing in favour of manager.
This kind of issues unecessary creates the hurdles in my carrier.
I really want to send the legal notice to the organisation.
let me now the process and procedure.

Salary deduction for employees

sirs,

I am working in a private company. MD of our company has deducted salary of employees on the number of working days basis till now salary was given as per month basis. His calculation is that salary of all employees should be deducted on number of working days basis and not on per month basis. For example, in October month there are 31 days as per normal terms salary is given on number of days basis, he deducted salary after excluding 2 public holidays i.e 2 oct and 22 oct, then he deducted 4 sundays and 2 and 4 saturday which is off so he has divided salary by 23 days and not 31 days.

please guide what we can do in this regards. he had also not issued any circular or policy change notice whic he was supposed to do. also is there any salary deduction law in Indaia.

Batch Wise Seniority

In our service rule method of appointments is 75% from amongst auditor who have passed SAS examination on Seniority cum fitness basis. our contention is that seniority list showing qualifiers of earlier session senior en bloc to latter may be prepared and then principle of seniority cum fitness be applied. but deppt prepares seniority from date of joining post and then promote senior auditor whether he qualifies dept latter than his juniors.
