Dear All ,
I’m posting this for seeking help to save the life of an innocent (my friend).
It all started 1.5 years back, my friend has a distant relative whom many people of the near and far family wanted him to marry. They talked about it during family functions at times. But my friend never had the slightest interest in marrying her (and did not show any) but apparently (and as it has turned out now), the girl and her family were too interested. The girl did not get married in these 1.5 years and maybe due to family pressure, attempted suicide 2 months back and survived. She had written a suicide note that mentioned his name and also that both the families had agreed upon their marriage, that everything was planned but he suddenly denied, thus leaving her with no reason to live. Since I know him very well,I can assure that the entire suicide note contains false allegations against him and his family.
Now, they have filed a court case against him with the intention of marrying her to him by using all sorts of cheap emotional gimmicks and allegations. Seems like they have a keen eye on his property as well.
Up to my knowledge, Indian courts accepts suicide notes without analyzing the truths in it.
There is no use of a marriage in which both the people are not ready or happy about starting a relationship with the other. Have there been related cases in the past? Is there any way to save him from this? Kindly help me to help him in this regard.
Thanks for spending much time for reading this post.
Best regards,
Sreekanth

Thank you for your valuable advice.A person wants to give divorce to his wife, can he be asked whether he wants to live with his wife or his girlfriend and if he says he wants to live with his GF, will Hon. Court permit him to do so, without his wife's consent and if she objects, what will be the cause of action?
