Our ancestral property has devolved to the surviving children, 2 brothers and three sisters. I am the son who would like to sell or develop residential units on his part of the property . The exixting property is half an acre of land with a house on it.
Am I entitled to sell it or only sell if everyone else wants to?
I am a Muslim. How much am I entitled from the total property under sharia ,considering I have one brother and two sisters?
The questions then:
How much property I am entitled to?
Can I sell if others do not want to?

I have filed a divorce petition & expecting criminal cases from opp party..
If members can advise:-
(a) I am reasonably sure of wife's personality disorder(BPD)after carefully examining all happenings which occurred throughout our married life, although there has been no diagnosis as she/her family members will laugh off if such reason is ever raised..How do I ensure that she is subjected to thorough psychiatric analysis in order to bring home the truth regarding her BPD which has been the main & only reason for separation......Can family court accept any such request? If yes, can they accept her to be examined by some known specialist instead of general counsellors in family courts who may not be able to diagnose?
(b) What effect will such diagnosis have on my child custody case? Will court grant me custody?

my sister was married a couple of months back to a man in lucknow. It was a love marriage but against my parents will. The marriage took place at the grooms house. The marriage was registered in lucknow court later.Initially things were fine with my sister but later my sisters mother-in-law and sister-in-law started mentally harassing my sister, making her house arrest and making her do all the house work like a house maid.
my sister wants to live seperately coz of all this but my sisters husband cant open his mouth in front of his parents and he too wants my sister to stay in the same house despite of all this.
my sister has left that house but now her husband has threatened to commit suicide if she doesnt return back.we are simple people and we dont want to get ourselves involved in this problem as my sisters husbands family are big fighters.
plz help us how can we safeguard our selves and our interest.

Sir,
If a marriage that has been Registered in the Registrar's Office ends up in a divorce, should the parties (ex husband and wife) get the registration cancelled in the Registrar's office?

Hi, My name is Santha Kumar from bangalore
My mother died 5 years ago after that my father got married again and got one kid. i have one brother and one sister, we have a home which we built 5 years ago through LIC home finance and the land was registered in my mothers name. Still we are paying the premium to LIC. Now my father got his second wife to our home and we dont like it and quiet often my father tell my brother to go out of the home as my sister got married and i am working in bangalore. We are OK with our father staying our home but his second wife, we dont want to... How to move on this. Please suggest... recently my father removed my sister's and brother's name from ration card as well. Today my sister went to our home and my father asked her who are you, why you are coming here and all and my sister said its my mother property again my father replied where it is written, just go out.
The LIC home loan is on my father and brother's name
Are we eligible to get our home?
Please suggest.....
Wrong marital status created by sister-in-law
The Mutual consent divorce case is in initial stage and pending in family court and wife's sister is trying to search a second person to marry wife on matrimonial website.Wife's sister has mentioned wife as "Divorcee" on matrimonial website although divorce is not granted and wife's marital status is still "married".Can husband put allegations to wife's sister for creating fake marital status and searching for a person for marriage though the case is pending?
