the people who are major can marry without permission of their parents ?
is there any recent imposition of conditions on such marriages from supreme court

I am really surprised by the way lawyers have been knowing facts , I asked a team of 6 lawyers that , I am absolutely aware that epilepsy is not a ground for divorce in HMA , but is it a ground for NULLITY /ANNULMENT of marriage . Can any body tell that, void and voidable marriages have this clause, but is this clause applicable even after amendment of HMA , does any one have sections of HMA AFTER AMENDMENT IN 1995, when it was made a rule that epilepsy is not a ground for divorce , any book which has the act after amendment of HMA

What should such couple do?
My Cousin Bother was happily married to educated woman. The relationship was good for few years and later on his mother developed high grade cancer (which was on at the last stage) . He started paying attention to his mother who was receiving chemotherapy at the hospital and was admitted many times for blood transfusion. In between she left the home many times. One day her father took her from home with her baby and started making wrong comments on the road and when his mother was brought to casualty she was not at the home and later his mother transferd to ICU and expired for remaining there for nearly 3 months on the ventilator. The life was as much usual after the death and one day with brief attrition beteen my cousin and her wife , she left the home with her child without informing them. His father too get upset with the behavior of his daughter law as she switched off the mobile When contacted her parents they informed that they were not in thri city and advised to lodge a complaint with P.S But Actually he was much verse with the facts. Later my cousin found that she has reached her native with her child My cousin and wife has opened the joint account in their name and due to personal reasons he has made the FD in his name because of the strange intentions of her father
And same thing happen, her father instead of bringing the daughter back to home visted the bank for complete drawl of money but was unable to do so. My cousin shows the intention to bringing her wife back to home but ther father intervene that he himself brought her to their residence. One day her father telephoned to my cousin father that he has to take the remedy through police if he did not come there immediately
My cousin booked the car and showed the interest of bringing her but father refused openly and demanded money heavy cash and god ornaments of his deceased mothe which he refused bluntly and the girl too refused to come her
On the next day he has send the legal notice and demanded 50,000 along with lawyer feesa s mental agony apart from 2 k.G GOLD, 4 K.G SILVER AND with undertaking
I drafted the reply and her atrocities to the cousel of her
In between I filed the anticipatory bail application but was rejected as he has not filed the FIR
Later on they agin came and started hurling abusive languge and they say that they will defame thei name in the public if their demands re not met
I filed the application under section 9 RCR which has issued notices to them . In between they started meeting with Legal aid for mediation .finally the court has directed her to join with husband
The relationship go smoothly as she agin get pregnant . But there was reagulat attrition between them .But hurled abusive language on each other His afther has invited for his brother marriage but my cousin didn’t attend the function. This again has infuriated his father and has come with his relatives but nothing has come out of this. Her father and mother has hurled abusive language to me because of filing the case against her daughterin law
One night they had attrition and her wife tried to call the police by dialing 100 at around 2 o clock
Thereafter, his father went to women cell who visted their residence and find no merits in the complainat and asked her parents to move out of their matri home
Now her wife has left the home for another 1 month may be for planning new conspiracy
What should my cousin will have to do?
Is this is family adjustment or the part of broken marraiage??
What advise you should give?

in mutual conset wife is decided to absent court hearing.
how mutual will cancel ? what is the normal procedure in court?
how many hearings will give judge if wife absent? how much normal time?
how to proceed separately in court for divorce by filing single side divorce after canceling of mutual?

dear sir,
my relative's divorce case filed 6 months back, it is of mutual consent. afte 6 months their final hearing is in court is on 27 july. but now his wife family is demanding 4 lakhs to attend final hearing in court. otherwise she (wife) is decided to absent court hearing. husband is ready to pay maintanace as per judgement. even she is demanding etra money. sir court will give another chance to them? if wife absent to court what steps will take court ?
will judge give another chance or cancel the mutual consent?

can you suggest a good criminal lawyer in Alipore court to fight my 498A. By good I mean honest/sincere and competant. Earlier I had Biman Banerjee, who is a renouned lawyer (now speaker of Bidhan Sabha), but unfortunately I found that he had no time to pay attention to my case, it was extremely difficult to speak to him personally or over phone, and he was simply putting up his juniors during my dates and even after 6 years no progress has been made, he just attended the dates.
I even got a order from high court of Calcutta for a speedy disposal, but the lower court is going at it own pace without giving any heed to that high court order. The judge in the lower court changed twice during this time, and practically nothing happens. I am residing outside West Bengal (in M.P) for the sake of my job, my parents are in Durgapur (far away from kolkata), and very old to be present on each date, and in this situation I don't know what to do.
I am looking for a good lawyer who can pursue for a speedy hearing.

My marriage was solemnized at a place which is under Nimta Thana, North 24 Parganas. Now please advice me where we have to submit mutual divorce petition....in Barasat Court or Barrackpore Court ? Pls advice

Dear Experts,
This case is from Kota Rajasthan, one of my nephew got married last year December and there started the nightmare for him.
I am not sure if I should write the whole story because I am new to this website. The only thing I can say is, the girls family has filed a false dowry case and the base of all that was. Can you please help what can he do here?
I know it will be very difficult to convince on internet that my nephew is innocent. But I can guarantee on him, thats all I can say.
They hired a lawer who left the case in between because other party has some support from MLA. The local SHO has eaten hell of a bribe and he is not interested.
Please help, what can they do here as they come from a very simple family.

wife does not disclose fact that her first marriage was dissolve in the panchayat.divorce petition under section 11 of hma is pending.
whether she is entitle for maintaince under section 125 crpc if no then suggest any judgement
