Dear Sir/Madam,
My younger sister got married in June 2015 the proposal was brought through a marriage broker since our parents are traditional everything went very traditionally we got the proposal in march end that the boy is a B.com graduate works in a Bank (Co-operative Society) and when they visited the boy’s father literally brain washed us mean to say the way they spoke that we TRUSTED & thought they would be people like us & assumed whatever they explained about the boy is TRUTH he is a B.COM graduate & works in Bank. Everything got finalized & date got fixed & when the guy was asked to talk to the girl he said in front of everyone there is always time after marriage to talk not a problem so we thought even he his traditional & shy in nature everything will be fine after marriage & later number got exchanged & there was very less he called may be he called 3 or 4 times most of the time he used to text. Finally they got married now the realities is that he does not work he don't hold a degree & he is fully addicted to drinking & smoking. & his parents claim that she is been married to him to bring out the addiction out of him & he doesn't listen to her & his parents are so cheap that they often use bad words & we are not brought up in such environment. So she came back within one month & she had explained her husband that she will not come unless he quit drinking, since he drinks in the morning till night. She being a double graduate was working had so many dreams about marriage got cheated very badly & now its 3 months she has come back she has called her husband many times he does not respond to any calls & no body from his house called since they have cheated us. My parents have spent more than 10 lakhs for marriage & there is no satisfaction even she is not happy we are washing our hands in tears, recently we got to know from her co-sister that he has some serious illness, since he drinks a lot. So what can be our next step everyone at home are very depressed. We want to go legally. Kindly advice.
His parents & there family people are very bad & keep changing the words very now & then so don’t want to compromise & since even the boy is not good & doesn’t work there is no chance of things getting right.
Kindly advise since we got cheated on trusting them on what basis we can file a case or send notice.

My married elder sister passed away in the year 1998 leaving behind a son of 2 years. Thereafter my mother passed away in 2004 followed by my father in 2006. Now my mother has a self acquired property in her name and also a joint property with my father. Alongsi

i am an Hindu from Tamilnadu. my grandpa had some ancestral land (agriculture)and he had 2 male and 3 female childs. all are born before 1955. 2 females are died. but they have (2 male ) and (1 female )child. Remaing female is my mother . my grandpa died in 2008. my mother have rights in my grandpa's land? thanks

A man had got married 10 years back under family obligations. He dragged the relation like that. She is staying with in-laws in town & he is in different state. Its a relation for name sake with no bondings & no regrets also.
Now the guy is in love with a unmarried girl who is my cousin sister & both wants to marry without hurting the 1st wife & both are ready to give her lifetime mentainence.
The unmarried girl wants legal identity as a wife.(not interested in property of the man, dont want previlage of rights also)For This identity parents of unmarried girl are mainly concerned. Please help if any of the provision is there to live together as husband & wife.

Dear sir many parents in all religions adopting tricks for not give share in property the trick is that as soon girl attains 18years of age they took sign on release deeds or during marriage period thereafter the girl totally depends on husband in case she is earning she might survive without husband but in case if she becomes widow or divorced she faces a fatal situation because as soon brothers get married they refuse to look after their sisters .. So to stop this harrasement what is the solution can pil in any high courts wiil help or how to approach law commission to take up this issue

Am raising this query for my brother. He married a girl from different caste some two year back. Its a register marriage. The girl was in her final semester so just they got married and started to live separate. But they used to meet and roam frequently. Now both the families come to know about their marriage. Girls parents are not ready to accept it because of status. So they brainwashed the girl and filed a divorce case. But my brother don't want to give divorce and he wish to live with that girl. Before that they tried to threatened him to get the marriage certificate and other things from him. Girl lied a lot during counseling sessions. Even he begged her to tell the truth. Last week during the end of counseling session the girl's brother spitout some bad about my family so it became an issue and he beaten my dad with slipper who is 67year old. We failed a complaint against them . at the same time the girl filed a chain snatching false complaint against my family with the help of sp . She created a sympathetic drama and all. Now they are trying to push with the help of minister to get the documents from us. We are in helpless situation to compete with them in money wise and power wise. But because of this issue he lost his job , so much insult in station or wherever he go and the whole family was stressed out because such a situation is new to us. Can you please guide us someway??? They are in life threatening situation because of her lies. No one is ready to hear the truth from his side. Please give us some suggestion positively..

My sister get married by mistake. She carried away with the guy and his family. They mind washed her and succesed to get her married. Now she realised her mistake after a week of her marriage and want to nullify her marriage. How's it possible?
