I have paid full settlement amount in part as decided by the bank's representative.I paid the final balance amount in cash against the receipt of full & final settlement letter after confirming with that representative. Thereafter I stop receiving monthly statement & also there was no correspondence from bank. But after 6 months I receive a call asking for part amount which was paid before final payment was made. I ask for a written letter for demanding this balance amount. Even after SIX YEARS & till today they never send me a written letter nor any representative visited my address, demanding to pay that balance amount. I use to receive only phone calls, that too once in a year for making payment. I would always request them to sent me a letter.But till date they have not send. How do I stop this matter. Please reply.

hi, i need some assistance if anybody can help.
I got married last june.My mother in law has taken my wife back,saying that she(my wife) is not able to adjust. this happened in december. my wife & my mother in law have signed a letter, stating that they have taken this step willfully. in this span, they went to various people in our caste, & ask them to extort money from us & get the divorce done.but the other people always replied them to help in patching it up. from last one month i am trying to contact my wife, went to several places to get her back,but her mother is not ready to patch up & the inlaws are not allowing me to talk to my wife. in this last month,only once i have spoken to her & through her talk,i felt she might come back,but is getting negative under some pressure. my mother in law has given me dhamki that she will show me what she is ? i'm afraid she doesn't file a false 498a/406 and other possible case just to harrass us? please suggest me what to do now? how to save my family from all these false cases? my wife stays in other state, can they file these false cases over there & do that state police can arrest us?

i Want to know different types of ipc act in criminal cases,
likely rape cases, murder, half murder, Goondagardi, cheating, violence of law, and the punishment according to these act.
and the no. of important act in court.

1. informant/father of the deceased claims that when heard about the occurence, rushed to the spot, found his son greviously injured, who before dying, disclosed the name of the accuseds as the offender.
2. mother also supports the version.
3. medical report/ doctor states that the nature of injury can cause immediate death.
--- can the statement of the deceased b treated as dying declaration.????
please also suggest any supporting ruling in defence.

I want to state that my in laws and husband along with police took me to the police station at midnight .they bribed them heavily and forced me to sign the documents stating that i will leave the house. now i want to take action against the police officer .as there was no lady police in the station.is this issue to be addressed to human rights protection.as there is supreme court guidelines that lady cannot be taken to police station after 7.00 p.m.Rg

I had given goods to accused no. 2 who is the proprietor of a firm. Accused no. 1 issued a personal cheque to discharge the payment. Are both accused liable under section 138 ?
