Sir, A OS in Pr.Mag. was decided on date X, same day I applied for Certified copy. Decree is yet to be drawn. I applied and got Judgement copy today, after 15 days. Now, whether date of receipt of C.C of judgement date (today)is considered for time limitation of appeal or date of decree and its receipt date? (which is yet to be drawn, even after more than 15 days of order)
Please inform.
(in short, Dt of receipt of judgement copy or date of receipt of decree? for time limitation of appeal)

Stay execution proceedings if criminal case filed

Hello All

There are various judgments where civil proceedings can be stayed till decision of the criminal proceedings for same cause of action...

Case: Arbitration Award & Copy was sent to fake addresses & bank went for execution & gave wrong details of property for attachment.

I have a criminal case against the bank for the fraudulent actions as every action of theirs makes decree void....Can the execution proceedings in this case be stayed on grounds that a criminal complaint against bank is pending.

Thankyou

To day I got a phone call from a mobile and a leady informed me that she is from Delhi police and told me that there is a case against me non bailable warrant will be issud aganst me. She also given me a number of a lawyear who is handling the case on behalf of ICICI Bank and advised me that IF I do not sattle the matter within 15 mins she will send the casefile to Assam Police. I talked with him and the person told me that If I pay 2 day Rs. 40,000 then the matter will be sorted out of court but If I do not pay 2 day i have to pay Rs. 65,000 in the court.

During last 5 to six years they did not informed me that there is anything pending to bank and I also can't remember that if really there was any dues.

Sale of agricultural land

sir,
i joined in the govt. service in the state west bengal as assistant engineer (agri- irrigation) in 02.09.2005 at the age of 25. my father bought an agricultural land on 2.5 bigha in my name on 31.01.06 which was 7 km far away of our home. at my tender age i didn't know that the procedure should need departmental permission. when i came to know about this fact the time for seeking permission was over and i used to mention that property in my statement of assets from 01.01.07.
afterthat, it became a headache to keep that property in good condition as the piece of land was surrounded by a huge portion of agriculral lands of broker communities. so we wanted to sell the land in minimum price. but, due to that positional disadvantage no willing person was eagre to buy that land. but suddenly we got an willing person and he wanted to complete the formatities within a very short time. i intimated to my department of water resources investigation and development about the fact and sought for permission to sell that land on 01.01.12. to avoid the headache to keep that land further and due to the urgency of the willing party, i had to sell the land on 15.06.12 in Rs. 5 lakhs total and sought for post- facto approval to sell that land with all necessary document.
now, my questions are as follows:
1) can i get post facto permission of selling that land for which i didn't take permission at the time of buying?
2) is there any rule exists in west bengal that any person other than cultivators can buy or sell agricultural land?
