Dear Sir/Madom,
I have received a legal notice from a party for payment of stocks which I have not received. In fact I was not in town on the date he mentioned in the notice ,when stock delivered.
I replied the notice demanding him to send photo copy of invoice/bill throuh which stock received. Three months have past since then and I have not received any reply from him. What should I do next..?
Hon'ble Experts,
There is one building to the back side of our plot. They have laid drainage line through our plot connecting to public sever without our permission 2 years back. They are not ready to remove the drainage line despite repeated requests. We want this line to be removed since it is passing close to our water tank. Presently the premises come under Grampanchayat jurisdiction in Maharashtra.
Kindly advise the remedy available to us.

A Complaint under Sec.138 of CrPC is filed in Magistrate Court on 24.12.2010. The cheque is issued against materials supplied to Defendant. The case is still in Magistrate and not concluded. Now I want to file a Summary Suit. The cheque date is 17.12.2009. Cheque dishonoured Memo from bank is dated 18.12.2009. Demand Notice dt. 18.1.2010. Now my question, since the matter is in still in the Magistrate Court, can I file a Summary Suit and is it within the time limit.
NI Act
If a cheque given to a party, does not return by him. There are no dues towards him.An e-mail is send to him requesting him to return the cheque or else the same would be deemed to be cancelled.Does NI Act attract in this case, if a case is filed.
