Professional Issues

Advocate's job is the noble profession. Lot of sanctity values are attached. Mistake of a doctor only kills a patient but Wrong Precedents and Corrupt unethical practices in our profession kills the SOCIETY AT LARGE which is more serious.

Why can't LAWYERSCLUBINDIA allot an exclusive section for Lawyers only to login and post all their occupational hazards and challenges faced by them on day to day basis so that our profession gets the right due it deserves in the society at large. I mean to say, Bonafide identity of all law graduates can be verified by the moderator so that a pool of Intellectual database can be established using latest Information Technology.It would amply unearth Lot of Makkads and Vishals to proactively participate in the Online Discussion Forum. Else it would end up participation of only few experts.

consumer

manufacturer received a notice from consumer that the consumer purchased the product of the co. which becomes deffective in the warrenty period the retailor once tried to fix the problem but again the same fault. the consumer never approached the manufacturer neither he went to the the service center but directly got a notice issued to the co.what should co. do

Tiger Population

Tiger is our National Animal. I feel pained and ashamed to find that we have only 1412 tigers left in our country. Though massive media campaign is underway to protect the tiger community, What are the statutory enactments that remain outdated and needs immediate attention to the law makers to protect and enhance the population of our National Animal. Young Environmental lawyers can join this debate and post recommendations to the Government to save our Tigers.

Successful Career as a Lawyer

When I finished my law degree during the year 1988 and gearing up to take up the profession, I was advised my one of my close relative about the prospects of a successful lawyer (who himself is a well established Senior Advocate). If one has to become a successful lawyer he needs three entities to become successful. I was totally misled by his advice and got diverted to take up employment. I regret that decision even today when I feel that this Noble Advocate's profession would have extracted the best out of me.

I need our honorable experts guidance to the student community to spell out the Best Ingredients that any Lawyer should possess to become successful in the profession. Please join this debate.

kind advise pls

Friends,I convey my deep gratitude to LCI site which helped me to score good marks in Corp Law,Banking/Ins.Laws and Taxation Law papers of CS-Final exams which I qualified with 61% avg. The results were declared recently. Now the big qn.is whether to quit Central Govt service which I am in for the last 22 years (I am 43 now)working as Stenographer drawing 32k/pm. My Ministry does not require a CS and probably I am the only qualified CS in the entire Ministry.
In all the levels of CS exams I scored avg.of 61-62% which is nearer to the all-India rankers.
I seek your kind advise so that I successfully begin 2nd innings of my career life. Thanks and Regards

Suo Moto Action

Under What circumstances Court intervenes in a Public Interest matter and takes suo moto action? Who is empowered to take decision or direct any Public Authority to act non-detrimental to Public Interest. Please attach copy of precedents if our learned brothers have in their hard disks. Chinlish English

Let's enjoy our weekend with a happy smile!

This is hilarious... .. even an Englishman could not construct sentences using numeric, which is exclusive only to the Chinese from Hong Kong, Malaysians and Singaporeans.

A must read with Chinlish in mind.


Ah Lek was asked to make a sentence using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Not only did he do it 1 to 10, he did it again from 10 back to 1.

This is what he came up with.....


1 day I go 2 climb a 3 outside a house to peep. But the couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down. The man rushed out and wanted to 5 with me. I ran until I fell 6 and threw up. So I go into 7-eleven and grabbed some 8 to throw at him. Then I took a 9 and try to stab at him. 10 God he run away.


10 I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left 7-eleven. Next day I called my boss and told him I was 6. He said 5, tomorrow also no need to come back 4 work. He also asked me to go climb a 3 and jump down! I don't understand. I am so nice 2 him but I don't know what he 1.

Que.They Deserve Respect from Lawyers because Lawyers need to deal with them through out their life but, If these Guys passes before you(Common Man) and U don`t Get up Salute them does they fell Undermined?
