Succession to Property

A, a woman, bequeaths her property in favour of her daughter, B. Another daughter 'C' files consent affidavit in the probate proceedings(seeking letter of administration) initiated by B. During the pendency of the probate proceedings, B dies. 'B' does not leave behind any Class I heirs ( her parents and husband predeceased her, and she has no children). The daughter 'C' has one son and three daughters. Would our experts enlighten me as to

(a) what will happen to the probate proceedings. (probate proceedings pending for want of payment of Court fees)

(b) if the probate proceedings can be continued, Who can continue it?

(c) if the probate proccedings abate with the death of the probate petitioner, how does the property of A devolve?

Appeal to LCI

LCI provides the best opportunity for all professionals to exercise and practice their skills in the respective domains proving very useful not only to the querists but also enables to exchange knowledge amongst the legal community. Of late, it is witnessed that some of our learned brothers resort to posting replies like Yes, No, Agreed, Correct, As above, Refer AIR Manual, repeated query, well advised, etc (list is too long to recollect) which not only disqualifies for any qualitative sharing but also technically each and every such posts occupies huge data space which may result low performance on the technical front. In fact, there are few gentlemen whose routine replies are preconceived as Yes, As Above, Agreed, etc. I sincerely appeal to the technical staff maintaining this site to monitor such posts and block any query which is already resolved to prevent addition of YESMAN threads. This is my sincere request. We need to strive hard to share each other's knowledge than resorting to Point gaining exercise. Pardon me as I meant no offends. One cannot find a better internet forum than our LawyersclubIndia.
